I’ve spent 25 years in medical aesthetics. I’ve seen every “next big thing” come and go. I’ve helped build brands that redefined the market. But recently, I experienced the industry from a perspective I hadn’t in a long time: The Patient.
As many of you saw on my social media, I recently underwent my own regenerative aesthetic journey. I believe in practicing what I preach. I opted for lipofilling (fat grafting) to address hollow areas around the eyes—a procedure that represents the pinnacle of natural, regenerative medicine.
But while my surgeons were world-class, I noticed something during the procedure that frankly shocked me.
